Fingal Head PO This cute old building was the Post Office and original milk bar of Fingal back when I first moved there in 1973. One of the very few part time jobs I ever had was as the local postie here. $4 a day to sort and deliver the mail (and telegrams) on my trusty push bike.. and no uniform or helmet back then of course, so I’d wear my boardies.. all ready to hit the surf after my rounds.
