My zone🔥😍 . . I find solace in the short periods of time I have on the water by myself with the bird but also with no other boats around. The day I have to anchor on top of other anchored boats to catch fish while trying to chase a report is the day I will put the rods up for good and start coin collecting instead. I take pride in the hunt and to be able to actually find the fish that are in route to their destination. Passing the fleets of boats to try my known areas and find more secluded hunting grounds makes me feel lucky because I know the potential of the fishery rather than catching my limit and think that’s what it’s about. Search around, take a risk to learn something and expect to skunk, try new methods, start to understand the fishes behavior with currents, tides, depth contours, structure, and temperatures….. I promise you will love fishing way more and be more proud of the fish you catch. Just enjoy it, it’s not a race nor is it a contest.
