This gorgeous beauty was shared with me from a personal collection of a very avid hobbyist. While she wanted to keep this pup for herself but I was able to convince her to part with it. Thank you dear friend. Coming back to the plant itself, this masterpiece of plant was created by Kelly Griffin - the master of hybrid aloes. I am sure all of us would have noticed many aloes being sold as KG hybrid. The story behind the creation, from the master himself which I got from a wonderful site Dave's garden - that I refer to for many of my plant needs. “It is an Aloe haworthiodes hybrid crossed with a Gasteria carinata form. It is largely sterile and only occasionally has it made a seed pod which so far nothing has come from. I named it for the intro to Rod Sterling’s Twilight Zone with the floating stars coming at you like driving in a snow storm. Old black and white tv show was classic!” So, there you have it straight from Kelly Griffin, the creator of Gasteraloe ‘Twilight Zone’.
