In my devotions this morning, I kept coming across 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18. It really hit me! This would have been an awesome verse for the whole world to focus on this year! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ There are a multitude of reasons 2020 has just plain sucked. But God calls us to rejoice always. He calls us to pray without ceasing. He calls us to give thanks IN ALL CIRCUMSTANCES. Yes, even in the midst of a worldwide, deadly pandemic. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Give thanks!!! There is always something to be thankful for. If you look inside your life and think you can’t find anything, then you can thank Him for dying so the we can live forever in the presence of God! Fair break is hitting different this year. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ For everyone. No rides, no trolleys, no derby or pulls, no parade. It’s depressing how non congested it is in town. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ It’s hitting different for me this year personally, too. I have two babies now. And I am working outside the home this year. Thankfully at a place where I get fair break off! But I’m so grateful for this week off with my babies. It’s so hard being away from them for so long - especially because they are so young. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Cherishing this time more than ever and looking forward to Thanksgiving break. ❤️

These images were so fun to create! We dashed over to Driftwood Beach after Ashley + Spiro’s elopement at the Jekyll Island Club and man are we glad we did! It was sprinkling but we had just enough time to grab some cool shots. After a very hot and humid day, the rain and wind felt great and these two were not ready for the celebration to end🎉 Todd said hey... let’s see what we can do before the storm comes! He grabbed a single on camera flash (no time for ocf) and we rushed to the beach! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ The clouds were so dramatic and the lightening was spectacular! As Ashley would say, it was a moment straight out of the movie Sweet Home Alabama! Not bad for a quick last minute adventure! I also do some of our advertising photos and occasionally get the amazing opportunity to photograph our amazing couples on their wedding day! Tomorrow, Mr & Mrs Lane get to host their family and friends to celebrate their marriage and we are thrilled for them. ✨💍❤️ They were officially married in an intimate ceremony here on their original date when all the pandemic craziness kicked off and now they get to do it again surrounded by their loved ones. So you’re wanting to get pictures done but you’re worried be you don’t know how to stand. Don’t fret!! I tell you exactly what to do - where to put your hands, where to look, how to stand, what to do with your face(lol), etc! The first photo was created with my instruction. Swipe to see the difference between that and “Stand together and smile” 😍😍 Sometimes poses feel weird, but they look amazing. You have to trust your photographer and trust the process! I have to admit, I was a little nervous going into the session. These are my grandparents. Photographing family is always nerve-racking. Will they listen to me? Will they trust me even when it feels weird? But, oh my! These two were being so cute last night!! And they were a photographers dream! ❤️ Are you ready to trust me?
