Very creative. and 2) I like that this hidden gem cover was just a regular variant and not an incentive variant. Just finished #giantsizexmentribute #tributetoweincockrum fantastic issue if you don’t know this introduced a new line up of #xmen which includes #nightcrawler #collosus #thunderbird #storm and #wolverine along with original members #cyclops and #jeangrey the artwork is modernised but the writing is the same i was going from the original and new at the same time but was fun but time consuming #storm introduction panel did not fully match the original which annoyed me the artwork was beautiful but it felt like some panel’s had different media in each scenes but overall it was amazing and this story is fantastic if you don’t like loads of words this may seem overwhelming but even for newcomers I would recommend this issue for everyone fantastic variants are fantastic they are based on the original variants but overall fantastic story and good artwork as you will never beat the original read on #marvelunlimited #comicgeek #loveit x
I absolutely love this book! The #giantsizexmen tribute issue... what a wonderful book... 37 different artists each recreated a page of the story. Every artist showcasing there own unique style running the gambit from #alexross ultra-realistic painting to cartoony styles of some of the #marvel young guns. It is a wonderful example of the full spectrum of #moderncomics wrapped in a blanket of nostalgia!! Thank you @marvel comics and all the artists who contributed! Went to @tardys_comics today and came home with the following: Batman Three Jokers no.2, Batman The Joker War Zone no.1, Giant Size X-Men: A Tribute to Wein & Cockrum no.1 and lastly, The Department of Truth no.1. The latter was not on my pull list (I hadn’t even heard of it), but the cover and title caught my attention and I enjoy @jamesthefourth storytelling🦇🦇
Just finished #xfactor issue 4 and is #xofswords part 2 this was really good maybe as its a tie in too #xofswords but from #rockslide too #polaris too #apocolypse and every other character felt like this did take me on a journey the twists and turns just wow I really hope this crossover stays as good as this could be a great crossover overall good issue will review #giantsizexmentribute later tonight or tomorrow the variants are stunning too my faves are #polaris and #angel variants read on #marvelunlimited #comicgeek #loveit x

If you held a gun to my head and made me pick one #comicbook as my favorite it would be this one (not this actual one it’s a facsimile the real one is safely away) #giantsizexmen 1 - personally I think it is the most important #bronzeagecomics of them all and for me, it is the #firstappearance of some of my favorite characters ( #nightcrawler #storm #colossus ) gives #wolverine the platform to build his massive popularity and revitalizes a team that was on its last legs (the #X-men) without this book #comics today would look much different::: for the most part I have stopped collecting new comics but this week I will make an exception for the tribute issues coming out celebrating 45 years since this was published: if you have not heard #marvel has 37 #artists each doing one page in there own style from the book... should be awesome! #giantsizexmentribute #mutantmonday #xmen #bronzeagecomics
