Day 3 afternoon was a bit slow as well, none of the animals wanted to play so we ended up driving around a bit. All credit to our guide and tracker who were determined for us to see something. We found a herd of elephants which we got extremely close to, some vultures and a couple of crocs. Day 3 morning was a little slow, but we were super fortunate to have ticked off the big 5 (lion, leopard, rhino, elephant and buffalo) all on the same day. We have been super lucky to see 2 leopards so far. Some people go their whole safari trip and never see one! We did end up chasing after some wild dogs… after giving up on finding them, we randomly came across them chilling out after a big feed. One of those soecial impromptu "life moments". We were fortunate enough to visit the local school @ tongabezi lodge in Zambia Not one of my normal gigs but to date probably one of the most memorable. I started to play the opening chords to Pachelbel's Canon , and did not realise that the kids had sung along to this at a memorial of the founder of the school. What struck me was pure awe, surprise and pleasure when the kids sung along ....
