We created this half bath from a small hallway and vestibule on the first floor and the toilet area of the existing 1st fl full bath. We then gave the space from the existing bath, shower and sink, to the new kitchen. This change of plan resulted in a more private bath on the first floor for guests, and a much larger kitchen for the Owners. A design win win. We designed these elegant blackened oak vanities made by the ever talented @rexhillstudio to add structure and substance to the room. In this Park Slope Home, it was important to have a kitchen that functioned and looked amazing. When speaking about the island countertop, the Owner had a design directive. “I knew I wanted a built in drain board.” When the countertop fabricator came through, it was a very happy installation day.
