Going darker and warmer ☀️ • A very common misconception is that going darker is easier/healthier. And while that might be the case for some; going darker from very light and over processed happens in stages.. just like going super blonde. The cuticle of the hair is wise open on overprocessed hair, like an old sponge. You can put water in it, but it drips out very easily. The same sort of thing happens with overly blonde hair going darker. This is why we have to “fill” the hair with missing pigment before reaching your end color goal. And more times than not, to get the color to last, we need multiple layers over time.
