So the other day I asked if anyone knows how panini handles damage replacements… I’m wondering if this might be one. So visited a shop in Dallas recently and came across a card I’d seen on a prior visit and this time decided to take it even though it was confusing… This is apparently a four card set from 2009-10 #paniniprestige consisting of #timduncan #kobebryant #deronwilliams and #ojmayo There is a base non jersey version unnumbered There is a jersey version numbered to 150 There is a prime patch version numbered to 10 (which I would assume comes from the number patches if logic prevailed) The Kobe and Deron prime/10 are both on ebay. They don’t have “prime” printed on them like they do now but they are numbered right above the players name on the back. This Duncan is not… any guesses on what this is? Just a whoops? A replacement or a backdoor situation? Either way I got a good price on what I feel was meant to be a Duncan Number patch/10 and I love it. I’m always on the lookout for cards that are kinda oddballs. I think this one fits… I can’t find too much info on them other than the checklist… These 2007-08 #toppsbasketball mini exclusives Auto Red Ink came out of the rip cards from what I understand… the non auto version I believe is numbered to 99. I know red ink autos from around this time are generally thought to be in a 5/10 print range but if anybody has info on these, I’d love to hear it. I’m his time is a @therealkengriffeyjr Russell Authentics Collection game used laundry tag from 2016 #panininationaltreasures numbered 2/2 bought at @zehttys in Benton, AR So the Russell Authentics patches ran from 2000-2004 so while I’m incredibly happy he’s photo’d as a “Seattle” player… the patch came from his time with the #cincinattireds Prior to 2000 the logo was Russell Diamond Authentics and after 2004 Majestic took over based on a quick googles…really wish it was first tenure with the #seattlemariners but still an incredible piece. The photo of the 1/2 is on tcdb and is the other half of the same patch… the 1/1 is currently on eBay and is a beautiful patch from the Majestic years. Absolutely love this card and again was floored to see it in local shops. Could care less that it’s not licensed, it’s beautiful.
