Then one of my fellow Robins really wanted me to spend the weekend with him and then an at the time GF was the deal sealer to go the entire weekend thanks to a killer deal we got at the JW Marriott and it was the greatest risk I ever took especially with SDCC coming a couple of weeks later. Today I would have been heading to Anaheim checking into my hotel and getting ready for the convention I’ve been waiting my whole life for, but no there’s some stupidass pandemic going on and people can’t use common sense. This would have been my line up and I intend on keeping it the same in 2 years and also bring all my other mashups to wear for short periods of time since Celebration is what I’ve been leading them all up to. Vader Doom was the most anticipated one I was looking forward to wearing it and I had production halted for it, but it’s payed off. 27 years ago today (in which I was 1 and a half years old lol) my all time favorite Disney movie came out and it’s still the greatest. Watching it today is even greater than it was back then. Yesterday was the mark, but one more month until @disneyd23! And badges ship out on August 5th. This will be my 2nd time going and I absolutely loved it 2 years ago and I’m looking forward to it again. Not to mention with the cosplay improvements and a new mashup. I was also blessed to get a room at the Hilton once again. Next con D23 = No Armor, no black, no eyeshadow, no mesh contacts, no mask, and no heavy wear/gear. Being the hottest time of the year I’m really relieved. Aladdin Solo for Day 1, Jedi Aladdin for Day 2, and Classic traditional Aladdin for Day 3. Since I’ve been seeing some fellow Disney Jedi post pictures recently especially those of us bummed we couldn’t make it to Star Wars Celebration this year. I have been getting asked “when are gonna wear Jedi Aladdin again?” I just realized the last time I wore it was Anime Expo last year when I was with Amber Arden and that was 9 months ago. I certainly didn’t retire it and I don’t intend on to. It’s still one of my favorites and I know it’s also a fan favorite. I just haven’t had any reason to ever wear it since the photoshoot with Amber and I also wanted a break from it. The biggest reason though I’m saving it for @disneyd23 in August which has always been the plan. I feel that will be the perfect time to wear it again which will be Day 2 because I know there’ll be a lot of other fellow Disney Jedi, Sith, and Mandalorians. Not to mention I want it to feel fresh and not burned out. Especially because I know I can’t wear anything Nightwing at D23 😆😜. I will even have a new and upgraded Amethyst Lightsaber this time around too and with sound. I also have a surprise Aladdin mashup for Day 1 of D23 as well. I’ve never worn it to a con yet, but I feel this will be the perfect time for it. One of the greatest things to happen this weekend and one of the main reasons I decided to go to Anime Expo this year was doing photoshoots with the Disney Jedi Senpai, Amber Arden. These are from her phone. Pro shots will be coming. I had a great time helping her work at her booth for a couple of hours, taking pictures with people, seeing others’ eyes raise lol, and we even caught the eyes of the media of AX and they filmed us (the 4th picture is a BTS image of that). I hope a lot of you are having fun at LBCE this weekend. Sorry I couldn’t be there, but I unfortunately had to make a choice and go with ECCC since I’ve been planning the trip since June and I needed to stay behind and work this weekend to help myself pay off my credit card before the trip starts. Anyways I’ve finally decided my line up. Thursday I’ll pretty much be free and with no groups. Friday I’ll be with @j.d._eaton as Captain Cold and @super_suits_cosplay as either Flash or Reverse Flash and same for Saturday and they’ll be Red Hood and Batman, and Sunday I’ll be with @polyjuicecosplay as Reypunzel as well as a few other Disney Jedis. Also @karsanacosplay and @spitfirecosplay I’m real excited to be finally meeting you and definitely same for @wonderwoman_htx on the saturday. I got to see them again last year as well and even hung out with them outside the con. Really great guys and huge Star Wars fans. I unfortunately don’t have the funds to make any nor-cal trips this year. car payments and rent are gonna kick my ass and I’m also trying pay off my credit card as well and there’s my Seattle trip in March for ECCC. Next year though I plan on making at least 2 nor-cal cons in which I plan on cutting a a few so-cal cons especially Hotel stays. Well it has all come down to this.... Game 7 of the World Series. The first ever game 7 of any kind at Dodger Stadium and for my first ever World Series I’m seeing it’s going the distance. I still even have some to post from Saturday when at the booth and some from Friday during DC/Star Wars day, but this was truly an awesome weekend and by far the best LACC in the 6 years I’ve gone and no way better to end the weekend in doing a photoshoot with Amber Arden which was the biggest honor and who we can all say really started the Disney/Star Wars mashups as far as we know. It made me even happier that I set this group up for today and then seeing Amber wearing her Snowba Fett which made it sweeter.
