The Old Kent Barn Our favourite venue in Kent. You can’t beat it. They really have thought of everything. The attention to detail is second to none, the barn is absolutely stunning with it high beams covered in twinkly lights and the outdoor ceremony area is surrounded by beautiful gardens. I loved working on this wedding at @cowleymanor We created everything on site the day before. Being able to make arrangements and put them into their final position without transporting them takes so much stress out of the process. When I tell people I love making funeral arrangements, they usually give me a strange look, but once I explain, they get it. I’ve always been so humbled when asked to make the flowers for someone’s funeral. It’s something I take so much pride in and I genuinely feel honoured to be creating things just how they or their loved ones would have wanted, making their final goodbye extra beautiful. Blue hydrangeas are my absolute favourite flower so it was so lovely to be able to create these arrangements for a very much loved gentleman last week. Chelsea in Bloom has landed 🌿💐 A project I adore and have enjoyed taking part in each year. Thank you @monogrammedlinenshop for being such a fab client to work for 💚 Last night was surreal. Hundreds of florists filled the streets of Chelsea, creating their masterpieces on the front of stores ready for the #chelseainbloom competition to start today We say it all the time in the floristry world… everyone thinks being a florist is ‘such a lovely job’ … they see the flowers and the big events … they don’t see the sleepless nights, the stress, the hours on your feet, broken backs and disgusting hands, flowers dying, colour issues, seasonal issues, transport issues 🥴🤣But….that being said, they’re right! Last night made me so proud of the flower world I’m a part of. Our love for our craft pours out in our work and you’d be hard pushed to find harder grafters.
