Per request of @1slocrx for a 992 turbo S review I will happily oblige To start off I’ve driven a few cayennes and a maccan I’ve driven a taycan and @toronto_exotic_car_spotting s GT4 outside of that I have rode in a few 911s and did one Porsche driving experience with a dealer but not for extended periods so this was truly a first Going into it I expected the car to feel sterile and rather boring I expected it to drive amazing because it’s clinical it was purpose built so I didn’t doubt the car for a moment It in fact is what I thought a very well done GT car the ride is good the steering is responsive the car felt roomy and had all the comfort and technology you’d expect I didn’t expect how big it would feel even though it responds like a much smaller car I didn’t anticipate how hard the car would pull from a stop how much power and how useable it was in most gears the car did in fact have a lot of soul and it certainly flys under the radar it certainly took some getting used to but after 300 miles or so I grew to appreciate and enjoy just how easy to drive and exciting the car could be A big thanks for letting me borrow this for a few days I have little to no gripe with this car and have to say the Turbo S does it all #porsche #TurboS #992 #992turbos #billionairesclub #king #kngtsma #THEKING #luckyme #Aptking #THEBOSS #Fantasy #Blizard #Reddevl #rideordie #dupontregistry
What an interesting car to drive on the street I must say that going into it I wasn’t ready for most of what the car was going to do the Mono is primarily a track car over a street car so there was a number of things that made it tricky the clutch has a small window towards the top where it bites but trying to anticipate it doesn’t work it can feel as if it almost grabs and then doesn’t but once that headache is dealt with you have a car that rattles you and throws you around as you work to keep it together on bumpy roads the noise is excellent but it was far from my focus the shifts were violent unless you are buried in the throttle the downshift pattern takes some getting used to blipping the clutch but quick to respond the center seating wasn’t an issue and the car was nimble responsive and you could feel everything it wanted to do no matter any frustrations of trying to master the clutch or trying to figure out its quirks when you get it onto an open stretch of back road you can’t help but smile and enjoy it’s one of the strangest and most unique cars I’ve driven and one that I’ve wanted to drive for a while and thanks to @1slocrx I have #BAC #BACMono #billionairesclub #king #kngtsma #THEKING #luckyme #Aptking #THEBOSS #Fantasy #Blizard #Reddevl #rideordie #dupontregistry
