Spesso per un errato principio di sbandierata uguglianza si 'valorizza' chi non merita la nostra fiducia e si finisce di svilire chi con garbo e costanza realizza tutti i giorni il proprio compito. Si tende a 'premiare' i disturbatori e ci si dimentica dell'eleganza di chi in silenzio opera. Si diventa complici di una società viziata, di adulti capricciosi e pretenziosi e alla fine a rimetterci sono tutti quelli che instancabilmente fanno... E si che la scusa che chi ama il proprio lavoro non fatica ha creato un meccanismo troppo poco virtuoso. Nel mio piccolo cerco come mamma di insegnare a Delia e alle bimbe amiche che se fai con serietà ottieni, senza sconti e senza capricci, se alzi la voce per creare rumore non meriti la valorizzazione. Ovviamente,poi,purtroppo si dovranno confrontare anche con adulti poco lungimiranti. Il 'bravo', il premio arriva nel momento in cui si nota una crescita, una crescita reale e questo stesso principio lo cerco di applicare a lavoro con i giovani talenti. Se dici bravo e non valorizzi, offendi doppiamente l'intelligenza altrui. Se dici bravo devi saper come metter in luce il talento altrui e se questo non lo sai fare allora meglio il dono del silenzio. La frustrazione che nasce dal sentirsi dire 'bravo', un bravo vacuo porta solo alla consapevolezza di essere nel posto sbagliato. Si è uguali nel rispetto come esseri umani ma non prendiamoci in giro non siamo uguali nel desiderio di essere parte attiva del mondo. La riconoscenza è per pochi, la lungimiranza è per pochi e purtroppo spesso l'unica cosa che resta è la volontà di impegnarsi nonostante tutto. [Avis lecture] 📖Violet made of Thorns de Gina Chen. 🪻🌹 Une lecture qui m’a malheureusement un peu déçue. Dans ce roman, Violet est une prophétesse et une menteuse. Voilà des années qu’elle influence la cour grâce à ses prophéties habilement tournées, à défaut d’être toujours vraies. Mais le prince Cyrus est bien décidé à la destituer, aussitôt qu’il sera couronné, et Violet le sait pertinemment... seulement Cyrus est maudit et le royaume court à sa perte. Violet devra user de son intelligence pour sauver le monde de la destruction... tout en luttant contre l’attraction irrésistible qui grandit entre elle et le prince. J’ai bien aimé l’univers qu’on nous présente avec de la magie et des prophéties, mais j’ai trouvé qu’il manquait un peu de contexte à l’histoire. En fait, il y avait un certain manque de worldbuilding à mes yeux, un élément qui est pourtant très important dans une fantasy. Aussi, j’ai trouvé les personnages très fades. En fait, ils manquaient peut-être un peu d’approfondissement afin qu’on puisse mieux s’attacher à eux. Le personnage qui a su sauver l’histoire à mes yeux est l’antagoniste, qui arrive subtilement mais qui sait attirer toute de suite notre attention en ajoutant du piquant à l’intrigue. Je dois dire que son personnage était très bien introduit et pensé ! Plus on avance, plus on ressent que la prophétie se réalise alors que Violet tente de l’empêcher, ce qui rend notre lecture de plus en plus intéressante en avançant dans l’histoire et ce qui vient soulever bien des questions. La prophétie pourra-t-elle être modifiée ? Bref, ce n’est pas une mauvaise lecture en soi, mais je pense qu’il manquait beaucoup trop d’éléments dans ce roman afin que je puisse pleinement apprécier ma lecture. Je vous recommande tout de même de le lire pour vous faire votre propre avis ! LIBRO-GAME 🪓 Daniele Daccò, Il Barbaro Grigio; illustrazioni di Melissa Spandri. 🎲 Il libro strizza l'occhio al passato: le tematiche sembrano emergere dai racconti di Howard (Conan il Barbaro), con m0stri squ4rt4ti, belle fanciulle da salvare e poche parole; lo stile ricorda quello dei vecchi libro-game: 350 paragrafi (in realtà 351, ma la fine si trova al 350, come nei vecchi Lupo Solitario), un dado, bivi, punti resistenza, scelte che portano alla fine immediata dell'avventura. Non bisogna lasciarsi ingannare, però. L'anonimo protagonista è un barbaro ormai in pensione, un po' acciaccato dall'età, che deve portare a termine ciò che ha iniziato decenni prima e garantire l'insediamento sul trono della fanciulla di turno, Viola. Per farlo, dovrà affrontare un viaggio attraverso terre selvagge, caverne e fortezze n3miche. Fin qui nulla di nuovo. ✏️ Che cosa rende moderno il libro-game: un comparto di regole snello, in cui l'alea ha poco spazio. Una vera e propria modalità facile, in cui l'autore stesso (chi lo segue sui social conosce la sua tendenza all'autocompiacimento) dialoga con il lettore dandogli suggerimenti sulle strade da scegliere, evitando così la frustrazione che i vecchi libri-game portano quando per una svolta sbagliata devi ricominciare da zero - cosa che non fa nessuno. Grazie a ciò, mi sono goduto la storia dall'inizio alla fine nella prima run; per esplorare e rischiare la vita del Barbaro, avrò tutto il futuro. ⚔️ Pro, oltre quanto ho già detto: le illustrazioni di Spandri, l'ironia di Daccò, la rigiocabilità (sfogliando il libro, ho visto molte illustrazioni di scene che non ho vissuto). 📚The Cruel Prince (Holly Black) Review! 📚 (Spoiler free) It took me a while to get into this book, but about a third of the way in I was absolutely hooked! I think I struggled to click with this book at first as the writing style felt unusual (not sure what it was about it, but by the end of the book I actually really ended up enjoying the writing style), and the pacing felt a bit slow. The first third of the book felt like it was a big introduction to this world and all of the characters/faerie lore, but the set up was so worth it for what happens in the last half of the book. Jude, the main character, was so fierce and badass - my favourite characters are always the strong women and Jude did not disappoint. She was not afraid to fight for herself and I loved following her. Cardan (a faerie prince) was absolutely horrible, but I really enjoyed his dynamic with Jude. They are so against each other and I found it really fun to follow their feud. The end of the book was great, and I really loved the pacing. So much goes down in the last 100 pages or so and there were so many twists and schemes, I loved it! This book feels like a really good setup for what is a really interesting world, and I am looking forward to seeing what happens next in The Wicked King! :) 🌟🌟🌟🌟 I hope everyone has had a great day! 💙 :)

🍂 Color Challenge 🍂 🍂 Thanks @dannys_bookcorner for the Tag in this Challenge, I love to see those posts and I'm really happy to be able to join in🥰 🍂 As you can see I don't have many books that are orange🤭, at least not here with me right mow, but these two books are definitely ones that I love. 🍂 I'm currently reading Atalanta, and man it's such a good book! I love Greek Mythology and I'm really enjoying the writing as well, so I super recommend if you like Mythology, rettelings and a good Quest Plot driven book! 🍂 A Court of Silver Flames is definitely one of my favorite books ever. Although I'd say controversial, I can't help but love Nesta and her journey and I relate to her sometimes as well. I also love the side characters so much, and it is truly a really important book, for me. Tbe whole A Court of Thorns and Roses series is extremely important in my life for being there when I really needed it so for that it will always have my heart❣️ no matter the criticism. This series is for you if you like Faeries, Romance, High Fantasy and loveable but real characters that will make mistakes.
