Quick recap of today's @usdmsupermeet event at @irwindaledragstrip Broke the left axle during my first burnout😔 Fortunately I brought a spare this time😄. Replaced the axle and ran a 7.07 @108mph on my first pass. Sadly my sputtering gremlins have returned and the second and third passes weren't good. So it's back to the drawing board to figure out what's going on. Still, I'm happy that I was able to drive it to and from the track after at least making one good pass!! Some pics from yesterday's @usdmsupermeet event @irwindaledragstrip🏁 Had a great time testing the wagon and getting her back on the track after a long time away. Wagon is running better overall and ran my personal best with the help of @kvtuned fine tuning the boost by gear and launch settings. I was able to make four passes but the alternator decided to call it quits on the last pass.😔 Big thanks to @kvtuned for the invaluable tuning support!! That work after work finally paid off! From having no Motor on Monday and putting down some good numbers on the dyno yesterday, ended up in the finals and got runner up, also got personal best with a 6.8et @ 101mph. Finally got around to troubleshooting the #OGWAGON on the dyno. Last time the wagon was at the track it had a weird running issue: it would sputter, pop, and bang under load. I was never able to get a clean pass. Today @kvtuned was able to put it on the dyno and duplicate the problem which only occurred during high boost setting. Ended up trying two other distributors only to find out the problem got worse. Switched back to my original distributor and it got even WORSE...made no sense!! Removed that same distributor, reinstalled it, and surprisingly it started running right again. Don't ask why...we don't know(maybe a wiring issue??🤷♂️) Boost level was slowly increased with each pull and got pretty close to where peak boost was set originally. Oddly enough, the car made slightly more power than it did previously and with two pounds less boost pressure.🤔 We'll leave it as is for now and take it to the track in the near future to see how she does there.🤞 #kvtuned #jmotorsports #twostepmotorsports #highendautosports #ogwagon #methodracing #thelittlewagonthatcould #wagoncartel #houseofwagons
