This isn’t a huge beer post, but more of a “cool ass venue” post and I enjoyed a beer while there!

I know you all will be shocked to hear my response….but I go for patio beers!! 🌞 After work on Saturday I stopped by @albrightbrew for a patio beer. I was meeting a friend and was killing time, but I wasn’t ready to leave my seat so I made him come meet me and grabbed another 🍺! 🤣 The patio at Albright was just stunning on Saturday. I will admit that I hate the bright sun and being too warm/baking in the sun, so I always want shade. I got shade and much more!! The perfect Saturday afternoon!!
Poll: Do you like to visit a brewery/taproom the first day it is open? I definitely try to and this weekend I was able to visit @mondaynightknox and @kernsfoodhall on opening day!! Monday Night had plenty of indoor and outdoor seating for this beautiful day in the low 70’s!! We sat outside upstairs for a bit, before moving inside to watch The Masters and LSU @ Vols baseball. We got hungry after a while and I had to try @avapizzeria_knox! The Pepperoni was delicious!! Nice and crispy, just the way I like it!!! With desserts, food trucks, and many other food options, it will be difficult to not drop by Kern’s Food Hall often! I was excited for the Monday Night Knoxville location to open, but there is so much more to the venue, it’s a must visit!! It was busy but the venue is so spacious I never felt overcrowded!! Monday Night had my favorite bathroom sign ever! Check it out on slide 9!! 😂
Sometimes the mountains just call out to you when you need to relax. That happened this past Sunday. I have been on the road a lot lately for work. I got home on Sunday afternoon and I had half a day to see the fam before taking back off today (lots of work Mon/Tue). Naturally @ms_sarahmarshall and I wanted to have dinner out somewhere so we took the short drive to @peacefulsidesocial. PSS is located just before the entrance to the Great Smoky Mountains National Park in Townsend, TN. Tasty 🍺 and always 🔥 food. It’s kind of our go-to when we want something local but not 2 minutes down the road. With the Taco Bar now open it was an easy choice!!! PSS is also the perfect spot for a post-hike beer!! Sorry, I did not get a pic of my food, it didn’t last long enough!! 🤣 🏔️ 🍻 🌮
Saturday night after work, it was time for a beer and dinner. One of my favorite places to go for that combo is @balterbeerworks! Not only are they an award winning brewery, but the food is 🧨!!! For the first time I tried the Fried Chicken Sandwich and really enjoyed it! I am usually a 🍔 guy at Balter, but have tried numerous menu items and I have loved them all! Did you notice my Balter Members Society glass and wonder how I got to be a part of this exclusive group? Well it’s easy!!! $20 gives you a lifetime membership to get a 20oz pour at the 16oz price!! Life hack: I found the best way to settle down after a Sunday visit to Costco 😜. Pull right across the street and visit @honeybeebreweryknoxville!! Sunday afternoon we swung by Costco for lunch, but did a little shopping. It was one of those days where you drive around for 20 minutes to find a parking spot. Needless to say, I needed a beer when I was done so me and the oldest stopped by @honeybeebreweryknoxville before returning to Maryville. Looking for some good coffee, beer, a place to work, snacks, etc? Yes, Honeybee is your place. It is a fantastic coffee shop/brewery and I wish I lived closer as I could work all day inside those comfy falls!! I chose a Mexican Lager, a chocolate chip cookie and made the oldest show off one of those comfy sweatshirts!! Not a bad little Sunday outside the Costco madness!! 😂 🍻 ☕️ 🍯 🐝
