After months of excitement, I finally got to autocross on my new @cygnusperformance coilovers yesterday. Sadly, that was cut short down to only two runs because Darling snapped a rear cv axle moments after Kevin spun out on his third run. I was taking it easy on this run because it was only my 2nd out of 7 and the car now oversteers rather than understeering which is a new experience for me. So thinking I had 5 more to go, I was just trying to get a feel for the car. Surprisingly, I beat more people's best times of the day with this run than ever before. These @cygnusperformance coilovers are just amazing quality and are worth the wait. We went with the Cygnus Performance X1 Motorsports edition with the concave upgrade, high caster camber plates, rear camber plates, and the hyperco spring upgrade. I Just love how the blue accents pop. The husband couldnt believe how dirty I manage to get while working on the car. 🤣 It doesnt matter what I'm working on I get covered in it. It's usually paint or stain though with work. 😂 Next, the car has it's alignment tomorrow and then we are off to our first autox event with the new suspension setup at the Mohegan Sun Arena in Wilkes-Barre on Saturday the 16th. The husband had to cancel his hillclimb entry for this year due to our truck blowing its motor and us not having a way to tow his car right now.
