On Tuesday afternoon we saw a sign that said, ‘It’s Lilac Time’ outside a floral shop in Toluca Lake so we popped in. The florist offered to let me have two bunches of lilacs for the price of one since these were on their way out + he was getting a new shipment in on Wednesday. This first pic is as soon as I brought them home on Tuesday afternoon. The second pic is how they look Friday morning. One li’l blossom is hanging on for dear life. I kept them in our bedroom so we could fall asleep + wake up to the scent of lilacs.
