This spell of icy weather ❄️ reminds me of a book cover design proposal I painted last year ✍🏼⛸️ it’s hand painted in watercolour & gouache, with degital lettering. I really loved the way the colour palette turned out so I have the original painting hanging in my studio. Behind the scenes 🎬✨ couples often ask me to include their children in their bridal illustration. The day itself can be so busy that they may not get time to pop over to be drawn on the day. I always encourage them to send me on photos to work from after the day to create their piece. For this couple, I was also asked to include their dog Chico!! (Same name as my canine companion) 🐾 Here is a peek from my drawing table of my process. I like to work quick & spontaneous. I don’t use a pencil & like to block in shapes before I jump in with my ink outline.
