THE ART OF PHOTOGRAPHY I rarely take photos of bridal bouquets I make because I never have time. In this instance, I did have time because it was an elopement and thus the flower requirements were much less than a wedding. Once made, I went rushing around every mirror I could find and tried to get a photo (see stories). I take my hat off to wedding photographers because it’s actually incredibly hard to take a good picture of a bridal bouquet (obviously it helps to have a beautiful bride and scenic backdrop in the pic and not the maker in her horticultural garb). So much depends on the light and often the colours don’t depict accurately. I love the flowers at this time of year - included in this bouquet but not all seen in my photo are ranunculus, poppies, anemones, bluebells, tulips, honesty and more I can’t recall, all grown softly in Co.
