The West Edge development, located at 12121 W. Olympic Boulevard, fronts the intersection of Olympic Boulevard and Bundy Drive with an eight-story, 200,000-square-foot office building which is fully leased to League of Legends maker Riot Games. Gensler designed the glass-clad, concrete-frame building. Along the northern and western sides of the 4.8-acre site stands an L-shaped, seven-story structure which features 600 studio, one-, two-, and three-bedroom apartments - 15 percent of which are set aside for rent as "workforce housing." That structure was designed by AC Martin, and has a contemporary stucco exterior. Ground-floor activation for the property is provided by 80,000 square feet of commercial space - anchored by a Gelson's Market. Likewise, the large development site is broken up by approximately one acres of publicly accessible open space, taking the form of a paseo cutting diagonally through the property.
