Complete transparency here. Did I pass my men’s exams? Yes. Am I happy with the results? Not at all. Shout out to my long time brother Justin for trusting me with his hair, but man am I disappointed. The fade turned out great on the sides, but lacked blending at the back. If I had taken more time I would’ve blended it much better, but due to time constraints I was not able to detail it as much as I wanted. I am happy with the pass but I know I can do better than this. Im not worried as I know I will get tons more practice in the salon and with the help of the instructor and pre-existing students I will brush up on these things. I just went into the exam too confident and that was my fault! However, this is not a sad post as I know with more practice I will be so much better I am just a little disappointed with the result.
