Si stima che ogni giorno, 6.300 persone muoiano a causa di incidenti sul lavoro o malattie professionali, causando più di 2,3 milioni di morti all’anno. L'impatto umano di queste tragedie quotidiane è enorme e ha un costo economico stimato pari al 4% del prodotto interno lordo mondiale. But the thing that amazed me was how many great pieces there were from past decades: 40 or 50 years old and still in great shape. If we make/buy good quality clothes, they can last forever and keep cycling through owner after owner. Every time you buy vintage, upcycled, preloved, you protect the planet and yourself. Förderer, die sich mit oder erst durch diese gemeinsame Veranstaltung in WB bessere Arbeits- & Lebensbedingungen für Arbeiter*innen insbesondere der Modeindustrie wünschen bzw. dafür engagieren. Mit den vielfältigen Angeboten gegen Fast- & für Slow-Fashion, die hinter bzw. vor uns liegen, möchten wir zu mehr Bewusstsein für Nachhaltigkeit & eine lebenswerte Zukunft beitragen. Gerade die Förderung künstlerischer wie soziokultureller Projekte, ermöglicht es, dass wir - wie vor Ort bewiesen - gemeinsam Verantwortung übernehmen können & wollen. Mit anderen Neues auszuprobieren & entdecken, kann herausfordernd sein, aber mit Geduld & viel Zuspruch lässt sich auch große Freude hervorrufen. In den vorgestellten upcycling-Projekte konnte man die vielfältigen, kreativen wie handwerklichen Mittel bzw. Möglichkeiten kennenlernen & ausprobieren, mit denen man aus alt, neu oder aus kaputt, wertlos(?) etwas völlig anders entstehen lassen kann. Außerdem war live mitzuerleben, wieviel Spass & Sinn das Weiterverwerten - Verwandeln - von Stoffen & anderen Materialien machen kann & wie auch Musik sowie Essen uns immer wieder verbindet. Gebt den Dingen eine second-hand & sie landen nicht als Müll in der Natur bzw. verschmutzen die Meere, Flüsse ... die Erde auf der wir weiterhin gemeinsam leben wollen!!! #fashionrevolution _Equipe do Projeto Hito_ Meu nome é Lucas, sou praticante de parkour desde 2014 ,biólogo recém formado e atuo como pesquisador na área de genética de plantas. São duas coisas que não tem qualquer conexão, mas que significam muito para mim. Conheci o Beto e a Agnes por meio do parkour, em diferentes momentos, mas foi apenas depois da pandemia que nos aproximamos por outro motivo: o interesse em construir coisas. Sempre gostei de marcenaria, máquinas e produções artesanais, e por isso fiquei muito animado quando conheci o Projeto Hito e descobri ter encontrado colegas parkoureiros que compartilhavam do mesmo sentimento. Desde então, tenho contribuído com a Hito de diferentes formas: com produções de marcenaria, manutenção de máquinas e como motorista de fretes questionáveis. Saturday's kind of ho-hum OOTD, because yesterday was quite out there for me. Today I attended a luncheon and gave a presentation. It was at a club where curling and hockey are played, so, with ice present, I wore what Ithought I might need, and I did. Need it all, that is. The navy, silk skirt gives the illusion of a button up front, but it's a side zip. I tucked in the linen sweater to make sure there were no air leaks. I was there for 5 hours. The experiment of belting the taupe, longer cotton knit, vest worked out and though the long, light tan cotton cardi looked good, it would be an awkward layer to renove had I needed to. So, the sleeveless tan trench won that challenge. I find coat/jacket belts to be quite distracting and occasionally dangerous so, in this instance, I fed it back through the 1st loop, fed the fabric through the buckle and back again so it's facing back. The cinched fit is still there, when done up, but the belt issue isn't one! Two scarves, both sik but completely different worked, but the loosely woven one is easily caught in my jewelry. I talk with my hands so the print scarf would better serve me, and did. I truly love the other, which is an infinity scarf, which I do NOT like but, #neversaynever I outsmarted Microsoft again, and everything went very well.
