X-Country fiiiired up for a post maintenance test run 🛵💨🔥🌌🫠🎉❤️🔥🚀🌠🤙🌄💫🧿🪽 I won't lie I love me a good unicorn motorcycle and the more I ride these X bikes the more I think I'm never going to have another bike in my garage that doesn't follow this simple recipe of lightweight, low center of gravity, and the mighty Rotax 650 engine pumping out 54 Clydesdale's 🐴🔥5️⃣4️⃣🔥🐎 If you've never been on one of these bikes do yourself a massive favor and throw your leg over the saddle for an afternoon... You will thank me later 🫠 These lil X-Country bikes are basically like a magic carpet that's a bit more road oriented than my X-Challenge 🛣️🧙♂️🔮🪄✨ Also received my care package full of moto goodies from the United States with an insane amount of help from my boy Eric Parrow... A few months ago I ordered about $500 USD worth of parts and sent it all to his house back in OKC. I can assure you even this was no easy chore finding all these unicorn tears they quite literally having them come from all over the globe to the US of A 🌎🦄💧⚙️👨🔧🧰🎉 Then the real work began because ole Eric needed to take all of these parts out of the original packaging which he did a phenomenal job doing to avoid paying the crazy high import taxes here in Georgia... Then he was on the almost hopeless task of obtaining some incredibly difficult to find hoses for my dream chain oiler... Just a few years ago there were several stores that sold all kiiiiinds of different sizes and types of tubes... Today much to Eric's dismay I can report back these stores are long gone as we found out. Now these tubes are quite tedious and difficult to come across 🤦🤯💔 My boy Eric definitely gets the hero of the day award for making all that magic happen and then some 🤜💥🤛 Also got to check out Paddycakes new house here in Tbilisi that is under construction and will be the future of Onward at some point in the not so just a fuuuuuuture 🌌🛞🪽

Husky TR650 test riiiiide 🏍️💨🇬🇪🤩🎊🤙 My boy Paddycakes has a garage full of awesome bikes here in Tbilisi Georgia and this particular one just might be top tier for me 👌👌👌 My dream unicorn ADV machine the BMW X-Challenge 650 was the predecessor to this more street oriented Husqvarna 650 by about 7 years... Basically Husky corrected all the known faults with the X series bikes & made a pavement ready adventure bike that is damn near bulletproof and just an absolute hoot to ride long term 😃🌠✨ When Aprilia with the help of Speed Brain out of Deutschland designed and built the nobile X-Challenge for BMW in late 2006 in Mulan Italy they were more focused on winning races and not necessarily road manners... That really shows on the 2007 X that I have as she can be quite savage & definitely unforgiving..... Much like an Italian girlfriend 😂🤣😛 I think Husqvarna really hit the long term adventure nail on the head with their updates to this fantastic platform. With the quiet simplistic design they came up with for this 2013 TR650 it turns an out & out open class desert race sled into a comfortable, peppy, and reliable RTW ready adventure bike. It's a delicate balance between elegance and grace & this machine dances that tango quite well 💃🔥♠️ In a land before Yamaha T-7's and BMW 850's absolutely dominated the market this Husqvarna 650 stood head & shoulders above anything else available on the ADV market a decade ago... Even still today I personally would rather be on this ageing 650 single over anything else available on the mid-size adventure motorcycle market maybe besides the brand new Aprilia Tuareg 660 or quite possibly a Husqvarna 701LR 🤔 That said.... You can pick up a NIIIIICE TR650 for a quarter of the price of these above mentioned motorcycles & she will perform on par if not better than either of these bikes in given circumstances. This TR is just as capable on the dirt as the Tuareg.... And waaaay more comfortable on the street than the 701..... Aaaand you can't argue with the price 💵💲🤑💸 If you're into unique motorcycles you won't see at every weekend gathering or Starbucks look no further than one of these trusty huskies 🤘🫠💯

Crazy that just a few months ago the new HQ was a "functional" bar 🤯 The first picture is today in the second picture was taken a year ago with Patty's first tour of the season having a drink at this bar 🍻 Literally this is the very first bar I came to upon my arrival three years ago the first time I came to Tbilisi... Уфа-Инзер-Магнитогорск-Аркаим-Казахстан-Южноуральск-Сим-Уфа. Марш-бросок в 1520км за 4 дня. Погода из крайности в крайность! Вначале поездки погода была просто теплой 🌤 в Аркаиме - пекло☀ в Казахстане - АД! 🔥Обратный путь с Казахстана до Южноуральска приятный дождь 🌦, а вот с Сима до Уфы чертов ливень 🌧🌧🌧, замёрзли. Ладно хоть не снег ❄ спасибо небо! 😀 Хотя очень хочется его 😔 В эту поездку поняла, что планы могут спонтанно меняться уже в пути, 🌪 когда почти доехали до цели, вдруг захотелось уехать в другое место, а мы ведь свободные люди, почему бы и нет!?) 😈. Уехала я на байк фест, а вышла приличная поездочка. Обидно только то, что мне показалось мало. Мне наверное всегда будет мало, неважно куда и сколько, только бы новые места и приключения. Ничего толком не поняла кроме перемен погоды, но мне понравилось. 🌞 В эти выходные я вернулась воспоминаниями в детство. Степь... зной... сухой и горячий воздух... Почему то мне хотелось добавить соли в этот воздух, мелкую такую как пыль белоснежную соль. Будто только ее и не хватало. Много чего было тогда, и сейчас мне кажется я знаю степи вдоль и поперек, наверное они все одинаковые, а солнце - яркое, жгучее, горизонты и поселки одинакового песочно-бежевого цвета нарисованные карандашом, различаются лишь тонами. 🌞 Я детство провела в степях, на фазенде с дядей и собаками, кормила молоком кошку с котятами, а потом каталась по полю на Зиле (собирали урожай зерна🌾). С бабушкой проходили километры по пустырям к какой то знахорке. Собирали какие то ягоды, в памяти это была смородина, где то в поле, была посадка кустов смородины. Мы набирали ведра и шли домой, под палящим солнцем, а я все боялась что появится лев и съест нас, а бабушка все поддакивала, отвечала положительно на мой вопрос - а водятся здесь львы? - тогда я думала, что эти ягоды для нас жизненно необходимы, раз рискуем своими жизнями...Помню неделями стояла жара, и в земле появлялись трещины, они становились больше и больше, и я боялась, что в один день эти трещины разойдутся и провалится наш дом. Бабушка как всегда отвечала положительно на мои вопросы😁 вот такие у меня были в детстве бредовые, но реалистичные для меня страхи. Выходите из зоны комфорта,что бы чувствовать жизнь, эйфорию, чувствовать воспоминания, воздух и ветер, ПУТЕШЕСТВУЙТЕ!!! Не сидите в 4х стенах, пробуйте все дороги, не упускайте возможности выйти куда то, это и есть жизнь! Я не знаю какая была температура в тот день, но было очень холодно, мы очень замёрзли и устали. Но мы были счастливы, у нас произошел этот момент и у нас есть воспоминания! Фоток с феста мало и нет в них разнообразия, потому, что нам было хорошо, нам было не до этого, мы запечатлили этот день в нескольких снимках, а остальное осталось в памяти, надеюсь мы никогда не забудем этот день, когда мы пытались пить чай из термоса трясущимися руками на остановках, и как я выжимала свои перчатки и мы просто ржали над этим.
