Introducing the face of #mummieandmebeauty. My name is Sallie and I'm a mum of 2 little ones. After becoming a mum I realised just how much we neglect ourselves for the sake of meeting everyone else's needs. When I got asked what I do for self care I said I got to wash my hair..... yep that's right such a basic thing became a luxury. After separating from my childrens father and shortly after baby 2 arriving I decided to make sure I was meeting my own basic needs so I could better help my children. Once up and on my feet I decided it was time to start my business. I did my study for facial waxing through Australian beauty school online and mt eyelash extension courses through @transformedlashesacademy. The idea behind mummie and me came from the lack of options we have to get some self pampering when we're bringing kids along. I found most women couldn't do it because they couldn't get the time away from mum life or they didn't feel like they could have their children there. I know first hand as that is me. We are open so you can bring your child/ren with you. They can draw, watch tv, sit in the room with their iPad etc and I totally do not mind. I think it's crucial we all fill our own cup so we can continue to fill others. If you felt like a queen before you hand your children by getting your brows done don't let your little one stop you from that! Spray tan Q&A 🙂 here are some common questions I get asked about our tans. Q: how long will it take to do? A- it takes around 10mins to do your tan. This includes doing your consent form, talking about aftercare and then doing the tan of course. Q: How long will I need it on for? A: our tans are 1hour express so you could leave it to develop for an hour. However the longer you leave it the darker it'll be. Intend to recommend atleast 3 hours. Overnight if you can. Q: how long will it last? A: If you follow proper aftercare your tan will evenly fade out and around 2/3 weeks will be gone. Q: Do you travel? A: YES!!
