Op zaterdag 7 september jazzen we door met een filmpremière. ‘Playing the Changes – Tracking Darius Brubeck’ is een documentaire over het leven van Darius Brubeck, zoon van de legendarische jazzmuzikant Dave Brubeck. Darius woonde tijdens de Apartheid in Zuid-Afrika en heeft daar Afrika’s eerste universitaire jazz opleiding opgericht. Deze was voor iedereen toegankelijk: als je een instrument kon bespelen, kon je bij hem (af)studeren. Hierdoor heeft hij in een tijd waarin Zuid-Afrika politiek, cultureel en maatschappelijk verdeeld was, mensen bij elkaar gebracht die in de ogen van de overheid niet gelijkwaardig waren. Darius liet zien dat muziek geen kleur kent en jazz de belichaming is van verbinding. Het Zesde Metaal op het Music Film Festival! De kaartverkoop is gestart voor de Vlaamse popgroep Het Zesde Metaal, die dit jaar de muzikale afsluiter is van het Music Film Festival. MUSICFILM – FESTIVAL DELLE COLONNE SONORE 2023: SERATA FINALE Ferrara. Si terrà al Teatro Nuovo di Ferrara lo spettacolo di chiusura della 7° edizione del Festival delle colonne sonore. Non sarà solo un concerto ma uno show a 360° dove saranno presenti performer, attori, cantanti, doppiatori di fama nazionale, tra cui Gio' Di Tonno e Caterina Guzzanti. Le colonne sonore Eseguite dalla “Ferrara Film Orchestra” diretta dal M° Roberto Toschi, vedrà anche le coreografie di Louise Anne Gard. Da La La Land a La Febbre del sabato sera, da Moulin Rouge a Flashdance, le più belle colonne sonore dei musical capaci di portare il sogno del grande schermo sul palco. Anche in questa edizione è fondamentale il coinvolgimento delle scuole che partecipano attivamente alla parte formativa, artistica e di comunicazione attraverso PCTO (percorso per le competenze trasversali e l’orientamento). Il Liceo Ariosto, la Scuola Einaudi, il Liceo Carducci e la Scuola D’arte Cinematografica Florestano Vancini prenderanno parte agli incontri previsti di “Musicfilm @ School”, un format all’interno del festival che prevede una serie di incontri di formazione in cui gli studenti del territorio potranno rapportarsi con i professionisti del settore trattando il tema del festival sviluppando l’educazione e la comprensione dei linguaggi della musica e del cinema. Per l’ultima giornata di formazione, sabato 2 dicembre, è prevista presso AMF – Scuola di Musica Moderna la MASTERCLASS DI MUSICA PER IL CINEMA CON ROBERTO GIACOMO PISCHIUTTA (IN ARTE PIVIO) ha composto oltre 200 colonne sonore sia per il cinema che per la televisione.
