CHRISTMAS CAROL SUNDAY Importance of Christmas Christmas as we know is a reminder about the birth of Christ. The birth of Christ signifies the beginning of the fulfillment of God's plan for man. It signifies the beginning of the fulfillment God's promise for man kind. We also know that the end of the fulfillment of God's promise was that we received His spirit at Salvation (Gal 4:4-7) For the Gospel to be accomplished, Christ had to be born; for Him to die he had to be born first. (Isaiah 7:14, Isaiah 9:6) So at Christmas we remind ourselves how that God came to this world to die for us. Because Jesus is God himself.
