Questo titolo purtroppo lo avevo scartato, poi ho ibiziato a giocarci e devo dire che mi è piaciuto parecchio. Evan, un piccolo Re (poi mi spiegate perché al maschile) guidato da una minima parte dalla vendetta e poi dal senso della pace vuole unire tutti i regni e togliere l'odio che incombe tra loro. Per farlo, partirà in questa avventura insieme al suo fidato Roland e piano piano recluterà e formerà il suo regno. Un gameplay abbastanza semplice anche se ci ritroviamo molti elementi a schermo da utilizzare. Dagli attacchi con le spade, la magia, i cioffi e le armi a distanza. Tutto personalizzabile e potenziabile. Oltre ciò, ci sarà anche una parte di building, in cui il nostro regno prenderà forma e dovremo far crescere di livello i vari edifici. Il gioco è abbastanza lungo già senza le secondarie, perché giunti al capitolo 9 dovremo fermarci per far salire di livello e quindi saremo costretti ad andare in giro. These are simply beautiful RPGs and I really like the combat system - it reminds me of Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles with the fixed area to fight in. I like the synergy between the characters too which both help to buff attacks and keep everyone alive. The PS3 game is new and I’m keen to see how similar it is to the PS4’s second release. What do you do when you have to figure out the correct path to take because each tile that isn’t concrete falls away after you step on? Well, Victoria chose to take picture of the tv screen and plot her course in the edit photo mode on her phone. 🤓 She recently picked up playing through Ni No Kuni 2: Revenant Kingdom. She beat Ni No Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch a couple years ago, and was excited to see what Revenant Kingdom was like. After having to redo the first kingmaker trial of knowledge a couple times because she wanted to make sure she got all the extra orbs and was figuring out the mechanics for turning the statues, she decided that for the second and third trials, she wanted to have her path figured out in a way that allowed her to visually see it before attempting it. After that, it was smooth sailing, and she got it on her first try. 😎 Do you prefer to look up someone else’s guide or do you prefer to figure it out yourself, no matter how many times you may fail? We don’t think there is a right or wrong answer here. Everyone plays games differently and for different reasons. Some people want the challenge. They want to struggle through a game because it feels that much better when they finish it. Some people just want, or need, a stress outlet and challenges like this could cause some individuals more stress. If they are looking to relieve stress, it may be better for them to look up a guide so that their experience with this game isn’t ruined.
