My favourite bit about wedding photography - getting a yarn with cool people. Dr. Burns - what a guy, what a character. An enjoyable morning was spent with Gerry at his daughter Maria’s wedding not long back. He took great pleasure in showing me his brand new 360 camera which came out at regular intervals during the wedding day. He also was blown away when Maria came down the stairs - which was very understandable as Maria dazzled!

When it comes to florals do you go fresh or sugar? For me it’s all about the sugar flowers and I dedicate days to creating them petal by petal to add that perfect wow element to each design. Why sugar ones? Because they’re the safest way to add florals to a cake without the worry of cross contamination, avoiding toxic or poisonous florals, or having to adapt to what’s in season. The only way you’ll see fresh florals incorporated into a cake design from me will be in a floral crown…where the flowers aren’t touching the cake. Which do you prefer…fresh or sugar? Rachel and Mark got married at the end of last month at the awesome @tullyglasshotel. Rachel might be one of the happiest brides I’ve ever seen - she didn’t stop smiling all day! They incorporated their loved ones beautifully in the day. Mark’s dad conducted their wedding vows and Rachel’s bridesmaid, Sophia, created some stunning wedding stationery 🥹 After the church, we headed to her granddad’s farm to get some photos along his gorgeous lane. We had to get some shots with the tractor (and donkey) too 🚜 When we arrived at Tullyglass for some family and bridal party shots. The sunshine made it feel like a summer’s day!
