From Helsinki to Nanjing. Business tickets 1200€ campaign price in last spring. Not a bad deal. 40k Finnair plus points return, almost enough for one way longhaul business class upgrade (50k). Nanjing was clean and modern. Atleast in the city center area. Some places were breathtakingly beatiful like purple mountain park area. The flower pic is from ming mausoleum. Climate at this time of year was absolutely perfect. We stayed in a suite in Novotel Nanjing central suning. The views were awesome from the corner room on 10th floor. Package included premium lounge access on 20th floor with some cakes sea food snacks and drinks available. Finnair flight to Nanjing was smooth on A330. Pre-order reindeer dinner was ok but overcooked. Flight attendant explained that they know reindeer cooking time should be less but in practise it is difficult to cook meals different times. So all are cooked same time in oven. Interesting... No petit fours for dessert this time.
