We’ve had a long start to the week with Nick being out of town since Sunday. It’s not been the same without him the last few days and I’m so excited to get him all to myself tonight! I’m thankful for my husband. He’s been a lead pastor for the past seven years. We’ve had some crazy ups and downs in ministry. We’ve had high times and low times. Times where we did nothing but construction in order to get our church family into a permanent place. Times where we hung out on a scaffold till 4am, looking at each other and thinking we must be crazy for doing this. But in all those times, some of them very lonely, he never gave up. He pressed on and I was glad to follow him. God is sure blessing him now with a great network of pastor friends that have helped lift his spirits and he is able to lift those who are the thick of it right now. Why? Because he’s been there and he knows it’s worth it to keep going. To stay. To not give up. To look towards the future.
