This plate represents 4 months of hard work. Planted the seeds that grew into carrots. Planted the potatoes that were ravished by worms- but were able to salvage enough for a supper or two. Collected the quail eggs from our flock, hatched them out, and raised them from chicks to full grown healthy birds. Dispatched the male quails with as much care and as much compassion as we could. This is homesteading- even in the suburbs. Knowing everything that is on your plate you worked hard for (except the butter) and cherishing the food. Церковь строили на средства прихожан, в 1905 году был сделан капитальный ремонт: впервые были расписаны стены, устроено духовое отопление, сделан иконостас, поставлены новые главы и крест. Храм закрыли во второй половине 1930-х годов, использовали под различные нужды, затем продолжительное время оставался в запустении, что привело к обрушению свода трапезной. Передан Церкви в начале 1990-х, вскоре образовался приход, в конце 1998 года назначен настоятель. На праздник Крещения в 1999 году под открытым небом была совершена первая литургия.
