A few summers back… I was on the verge of shifting from Electronics Engineering to something else. I lost my scholarship and felt it was a big mistake choosing what others wanted for me rather than choosing what I really wanted at that time. I remember how difficult that season was for me as a student. And even as I got older, I counted it as was one of the four regrets I have in life. The thought of getting scolded for not doing well in school was a thought that is too dreadful for me to contemplate, and the sleepless nights making sure a mere robot would work just to pass a subject was too frustrating. In retrospect, I thought I’m never getting out of that situation and would never graduate on time. But I did. And today, as I look back, I only know one thing… ECE brought me to places where God called me to be. Not for me. Not for others. All for Him. All to Him. Paul was right, “all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.” All things… the good and bad, the highs and lows. It sure pays to be reminded of the goodness of God every single day. Lest we forget. Because after all… we also benefited from His good works in many ways, and even more than we truly deserve. ✍🏼 Meleria

That’s why i thrive on pens and journals. Then she spoke how excited she was the we started chatting more then i brought out my journals ( i went last year and was asked loads of time if i brought it, so now i made sure i did.) I got the Matira Quartz from @nahvalur_official and it is stunning. A white and rose gold colorway never fails to get me curious over a pen. Writing with it was smooth and it felt comfortable on my hand! I knew i wanted this in my regular pen rotation. 🤍 Full disclosure: the fine nib was still a bit thick, i had some custom nib work done so i could use this regularly. I sent this to @jppenspanibworks and he made it happen, fountain pen sorcery right there! As fine as it writes, note that it seems still thick because the ink i used is pretty much a wet ink than my usual ones.
