Patrick joins Plutino after 15 years in-house at iconic Canadian retailer, Roots, where he honed his skills of creative direction, campaign production and brand strategy. “As our executive team grows, we are delighted to welcome Patrick aboard,” says Roseanna Plutino, Founder and President of Plutino Group. “Patrick is a tireless team builder with a specific strength in fostering collaborative environments, and putting people first. His warmth, attention to detail and distinctive smile make him a true asset and laudable leader.” Patrick’s plethora of industry experience began early as a child actor and model, however his knack and heart for style and design led him to Fashion School. Girl in the Picture . A little aristocratic, a little Malick Sidibé, Seydou Keïta, and some photos of my parents from the 70’s were inspiration for the composition . The hair is 90’s Black hair mag throwback and the makeup is original Rahnell (love the Shego green lips 🖤💚). We couldn’t find a Black nail artist in time that could do the ornate art that is specific to The Culture and having plain nails was not an option. I thankfully owned press-ons from @theeditorialnail to use . The original name I had when creating this story was The Aristocrats; at the time I was entertaining having 2 models. Because most of my wardrobe was denim and woven cottons I sprayed them with water and smoothed with my hands-almost the same results as steaming .
