My newest tattoo is done, something I’ve wanted to do for some time, I just needed to find the right artist to help me bring it to life. The amazing @ajmartin.tattoos not only is she a master of the tattoo gun, but a blade master as well! “Tattoos are a permanent commitment of passion” - Tawny Lara To me, we this tattoo represents my journey to find my passion in the culinary arts. It’s been a long adventure so far, full of ups and downs, couple of burnouts, and a few burns and scars. Some days I hate it, some days I love it. I can’t picture myself doing anything else. The knife in the tattoo is modelled after my first chef knife, a Henckels Professional S. On the knife is a heart and a “T”, the heart is in memory of my Lola, Corazon, and the “T” is in memory of my father Tesoro, both who in their own ways influenced my path to becoming the chef I am today. I’ve come a long way, and I’m not stopping any time soon.
