{ #lexchapterwithrach } unfolding the new chapter - one particular scene that I insist to have it included in this chapter was about them dating in the car back in lockdown years ago when they just started as couple. it’s the core memory between the couple, and i didn’t want the memory and frames about it to only stay in the mind. I didn't officially tell it to anyone, but... About a month ago I took one of the biggest awards in wedding photography world - I became a Rangefinder rising star! (Emma Stone got her Oscar, so did I 😀🏆) It took me more than a month to realise what just happened... As I was dreaming about that since I became a photographer. Well, what can I say... finally, asked me how it feel to photograph an engagement portraiture for a long time friend? it feels like you’ve seen the turbulent and storm in her and the sky is clearing up finally to this scene, with three little floof, and one who loves and supports her thru and thru. we don’t say much, but you know how happy I am to see how far you’ve come from. ✨ these floofs bring so much of happiness to us, especially to me and my fiance as we babysit them a few times last year and definitely they were one of the cutest and happiest highlights in my 2023. One of the most challenging parts of 30 Rising Stars was going through nearly five years of work to select only thirty images for submission. i dreamt a dream where back in 60s was cool and breezy with style like this, all i ever do is to only love and to dance away from all the noises in my head. and with you, it’s easy to do it again and again. ✨ when Cheryy showed me the dress that she have picked for the photoshoot, I had the vision to have a minimalist style of vintage veil over her but we just could not get the right veil from the shop, so we brought @ryneetanmakeup into the group chat and we shared the same vision with a cage veil styling! but it’s hard to find a good one thru online with decent quality, knowing the quality of sheer would affect how the photos would turn out, eventually I reached out to a fashion designer friend that I never met in my life before, only made online conversation, and asked for her help to design the cage veil for me for this shoot. thanks to this, I get to meet her finally in real person for the veil collection. @meadow_in_my_room @xueli_hwang 🖤 second story about having vendors who understand each other style makes wonder, when we were supposed to go for big pearl earrings to pair with the veil, Rynee saw Cheryy has a pair of emerald earrings and asked her to wear it instead.
