Diese befindet sich integriert in der Jet Tankstelle im Giengener Industriepark. 🌍🔋 Bei der feierlichen Eröffnung haben der Oberbürgermeister der Stadt Giengen, Herr Dieter Henle, und der Landrat, Herr Polta, inspirierende Grußworte gesprochen und die wichtige Bedeutung dieser Tankstelle für die Zukunft des klimaneutralen Güterverkehrs hervorgehoben. 🚛💨 Wir von Schwarz Logistics Group waren natürlich auch vor Ort und hatten die Ehre, mit unserem Hyundai / Hylane H2-LKW, den wir zukünftig hier betanken werden, vertreten zu sein. Сегодня у меня выходной. Давно не поднималась из-за руля, сил не хватало делится чем-то в соц сетях. Тело привыкало медленно. Раньше 10 часов работы в день казались слишком долгими. Здесь же ты работаешь 11-12 часов в среднем (с заправками и тд). Я всегда работала сама на себя, поэтому такая нагрузка была только по выходным, когда фотографировала свадьбы. Потом пришла иммиграция и моя первая постоянная работа – няня. 6 дней в неделю по 10 часов, проводили большую часть времени на улице в любую погоду. Интересный опыт, Диди навсегда в моем сердце. Потом был детский сад, и я осталась без работы. Начался новый этап – уборка квартир. Год среди американцев на Манхэттене. Я никогда не так сильно не любила ни одну работу, как эту. Это позволило мне увидеть крутые места и быт людей изнутри, познакомиться с равноправием полов, делегированием домашних дел, и ценностью личного времени. Я так сильно полюбила Нью-Йорк, его разнообразие и непостоянство, благодаря этой работе. По 3-4 квартиры в день, сменив 4-5 веток метро (подземная жизнь для меня довольно легкая). А сейчас я водитель фуры, занимаюсь тем, что не под силу многим мужчинам. Всё это благодаря этой стране. Она толкает, заставляет, но и поддерживает, дает колоссальные возможности. Фотография? Прошлый этап. Жизнь слишком коротка, чтобы заниматься одним и тем же всегда, может только если ты не врач.

As fall transitions to the colder period of the year, damp road conditions due to heavy rainfall and thick fog become prevalent. As such, we would like to draw your attention to the importance of not letting sudden weather catch you off guard. It always pays to be prepared for any weather that you can encounter while on the long haul. Check your tires for tear and wear and replace them accordingly. Ensure your windshield wipers are not worn off or do not exhibit signs of damage. In foggy conditions set your headlights to low beam so that it is directed towards the road and does not impair your visibility. As the temperature drops, frosted windshields become commonplace. Take your time to clear frost off your truck’s windshields, wipers, and mirrors before driving out. Additionally, on frosty mornings, drive slowly, especially on bridges and overpasses, watching out for black ice. Be mindful of the shaded spots on the road where it usually forms. Maintaining a good driver-dispatcher relationship is likely the most important prerequisite for any logistics business. This relationship though close, strikes as very remote and disconnected. This makes it difficult for dispatchers to relate to the truck drivers’ needs. Hence our guide on why the driver-dispatcher relationship is important and how we can improve it: 1. Dispatchers are in the first line of communication – so they must be trained to manage any unforeseen situation that a driver may encounter on the road. It is company policy that they must be competent enough to guide the driver even in the most difficult moments. You don’t want to make an already tense situation worse by adding personal relationship strains; 2. Make it proactive and not reactive – as responding negatively to situations that have already occurred solves nothing, and thought there might be stresses involved when reporting the bad news to the dispatcher or anxiety-inducing feelings when a driver reads a dispatcher’s instructions, it is imperative that both keep calm and deal with any challenges proactively; 3. Kindness always wins over selfishness – and it is just a matter of time before they’ll all follow you. Being a good driver or dispatcher does not entail being meanwhile working harder; it means being someone who is respected by those who work with you because of the example you have set; 4. Keep the conversation flowing – as dispatchers need to care for their drivers on the road, remembering it is humans who are delivering shipments, not trucks. For many drivers, a dispatcher’s voice can be the only familiar communication they will have had that day. So do not be shy in making conversations because drivers will be equally respectful over time and go above and beyond for you, should you establish that good personal connection; 5. We’re only human, after all – so we all exhibit different types of characters and personalities. The trucking industry is no exception; some you never forget while others you can only find in trucking. An over-the-road trucking job is a sought-after proposition nowadays. Perspective truck drivers must possess a valid CDL license issued by the state in which they reside, and most employers require a clean driving record as well as expecting the driving experience. Yet, there are several other requirements for OTR jobs that you might have to consider: Education: Though not a requirement, taking driver training courses is an excellent way to prepare for a truck driving job. Many private and public vocational schools offer tractor-trailer driver training programs. Students learn to maneuver large vehicles on crowded streets and in highway traffic. High school courses in driver training and automotive mechanics can also be helpful, yet check with local trucking companies to make sure high school training is acceptable. Training: Training given to inexperienced drivers is usually informal and might consist of only a few hours of instruction from an experienced driver. New drivers can also ride with and observe experienced drivers before the assignment of their own runs. Other companies have formal training programs that provide classroom training, on-the-road training, and CDL test preparation. Some companies also provide classroom instruction covering driving regulations, general duties, the operation and loading of a truck, company policies, and the preparation of delivery forms, logbooks, and company records. Licensing: All truck drivers must obtain a commercial driver’s license (CDL), regardless of the truck’s size. A regular driver’s license is usually sufficient for driving light trucks and vans in some states. Applicants must pass a written test on rules and regulations to qualify for a CDL, then demonstrate that they can operate a commercial truck safely. A national databank permanently records all driving violations incurred by persons who hold commercial licenses. Here’s a common-sense observation that many drivers seem to be unaware of: semi-trucks are dangerous, so driving around them requires extra precaution. The risk of an accident increases with semi-trucks because larger vehicles are prone to greater blind spots, cannot maneuver as easily, and require longer stopping distances compared to passenger vehicles. Last but not least, their mass, often 10 times heavier than that of cars, means they carry huge kinetic energy, which can put other road users at great risk. So we’ve come up with the following 9 tips on staying safe around semi-trucks: 1. Stay out of semi trucks’ large blind spots; 2. Try to yield to trucks when they merge, particularly on congested highways, primarily because of point 1; 3. Always ensure safe passing of semi-trucks by never cutting them off and ensuring sufficient safety distances, especially after passing; 4. Increase the following distance between your car and semi-trucks and avoid merging into the lane in front of a large truck if upcoming traffic could slow down or stop abruptly; 5. Give way to trucks attempting wide turns, as semi-trailer trucks take more room than passenger cars to make turns, and the cab and trailer both follow a different path; 6. One of the main contributors to fuel consumption on commercial transportation vehicles like semi-trucks is the aerodynamic resistance (drag) due to their shape and size. A truck generates a large wake behind the trailer and poor quality flow on the underside. One way to improve air flow quality of the underside is to fit trailer side skirts. These prevent flow circulation between the wheels and elements of the underside. The effect is a reduction in air entrainment on the underside and, therefore, a reduction in the overall aerodynamic drag of the truck. The area around the truck wheels and underside generates a very turbulent and chaotic flow. This is due to the presence of different geometrical features that are not profiled for minimum aerodynamic drag, like the truck axles, underside beams, and oil tanks. Additionally, the rotating wheels are naturally increasing the level of turbulence in the area by means of introducing an additional unsteady wake. Adding skirts to the truck underside has multiple beneficial effects on the flow quality, improving aerodynamics and thus cutting the recirculating flow regions and reducing the wake behind the wheels. Trailer side skirts also help to keep the flow attached to the truck side surface for longer, delivering higher-quality flow to the rear of the vehicle, which ultimately results in better fuel consumption and a more streamlined look.
