Quarterfinals is all but in the books, and there are still lots of great moments to share from the weekend, but this was one of my favorites. This was the second run-through of Event 1 for @mac_motivation22, and I remember seeing this look on his face and knowing that something was different - he was locked in. I secretly picked @erin.b.wright as my @crossfitgames Open rival because I thought to myself, “hey, we share the same weakness (gym dogs), and she’s great at running, which is never in the Open!” What I failed to consider is that she now has mom strength and that she power spiked by adding another dog to her family.
