✨ HAPPY NEW YEAR ✨ 2024! How did that happen?! It’s safe to say that 2023 was probably my busiest year yet on the personal front which meant Craf-Ted had to take a bit of a backseat unfortunately. We bought a house and a puppy and I had more new jobs than I care to admit 🙈 BUT I am hoping that things are now going to settle down (as much as they can with a 12 week old puppy!) and that I can focus on Craf-Ted again as it brings me a lot of joy being able to make items for your loved ones. It proved a magical place to raise three children and a menagerie of dogs, llamas, chickens and livestock. Soon came a flock of Leicester Longwool sheep, one of the rarest breeds in the country. Prized by hand spinners in Europe and the US, Megan knew their beautiful fleece could be woven into gorgeous home textiles. Cue beautifully soft undyed blankets and curly cosy sheepskins for sale in our shop! Then came the ceramics. Megan produces small batch or individual pieces of porcelain tableware. Vases, bowls and jugs hand thrown on her wheel in her studio on the farm. Simple and attractive in a palette blues, greens and creams. This is what you call multi- tasking! Visitors can enjoy SEVEN large outdoor marquees dedicated purely to shopping, filled with a diverse range of handmade and curated products and gifts. From jewellery, to homeware, to food and drink, and so much more, you'll be spoilt for choice! There's a big line up of street food caterers delivering delicious food and drinks for all tastebuds! When you fancy a pit-stop for lunch or need to refuel from all that shopping, grab a drink and bite to eat, take a seat near the live music tent and soak up the summer alfresco vibes. Entertainment and activities - we've got so much to keep all ages entertained... The falconry display is not to be missed, as well as the very cute petting zoo. Hi 👋🏻 it’s been a while since I’ve posted over here so I thought I’d say hello! I’m Lauren - owner of Craf-Ted by Lauren 🥰 it turns out I have very few photos of just me so this one from a wedding a while back will have to do! Craf-Ted is not my ‘main’ job - Monday to Friday I am a Finance Business Partner for an educational trust and I do Craf-Ted around that. I am also part of the @girlguiding community again after having been a part of it as a child, and every Thursday afternoon I get to meet with my lovely local Rainbows group 🌈 I live in South East England with my boyfriend and Teds lives at my Dad’s house a short while from us. We have some very exciting life things happening at the moment and hope to welcome a dog of our own into our home very soon!
