You win some and you lose some. Owning a business does not come without disappointment. You take lots of risks and hope for the best. This past weekend was one of those disappointing moments. I was at a vendor fair that was not lucrative and in fact I lost money by attending. Unfortunately that is a risk we take. A lot of factors determine if a vendor event will be successful or not. Booth location and foot traffic play a large role in that success and well… you can probably guess that those two factors were less than desirable over the weekend. So what now??? Meet Allison, the face behind Swak. 👋 It’s been a year since I introduced myself and in that time we have gained more followers, so I thought it would be a good time for a re-introduction. I am one of the two faces behind Swak. My sister and I partnered up in the summer of 2020 to design and produce Swaks, a product we invented together. As a group fitness instructor, I needed to find a way to keep my long hair from whipping me in the face and also a way to keep my ponytail tips dry from sweat while working out. Since inventing Swak, I have not gone a workout without it. During the hot days I’ll wear it cover style or headband style and on colder days, I wear it as an ear cover.
