Exact same moment in my life ‘I am so lucky to have a job where I can work from home. I snook out of our bed early this morning leaving my other half and little Owen snoozing (in our bed) so I could catch up on some admin tasks. About 1/2 hour later little man was crying because mummy wasn’t there. I was able to break off to comfort him. And then go back to my work. I love been able to be available for him. ‘ or try... ‘ I feel so torn and guilty. Is it bad of me to want to be able to finish my coffee and email without distraction. There really wasn’t much point me waking up early despite been over tired. And my email is half finished.’ Gratitude works and this morning was a total game-changer for my mood. Day 15 of my 75-day challenge, and it's an important day for me. I said goodbye to my job of 15 years and 7 months, which brought up mixed emotions. I'm grateful for everything I learned during my time there, but it's time for me to move on. Even though I felt a bit tired after a recent mini-vacation, I made sure to take care of myself and be productive. Instead of going to the gym, I worked out in our garage, which was a nice change of pace. It's amazing how even small changes can make a big difference. Today reminded me of how important it is to take care of myself and listen to my body. Self-care can take many different forms, and for me today, it meant trying a new workout routine and going to bed early. Here are a few things I accomplished today: ✅️- Woke up at 7:00 am ✅️- Did my morning devotional and evening workout ✅️- Read a book to nourish my mind ✅️- Made a delicious lunch ✅️- Drank half a gallon of water ✅️- Shared a photo online I'm excited for new beginnings, to learn more about myself, and to take each day as it comes. I'm committed to continuing my 75-day challenge with renewed energy and focus. The sacred home within Hirma's heart is a sense of serenity in the soul and with that, I can feel at home anywhere.
