@editionroasters |📍Sydney CBD 𝗥𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗡𝗚: 💰 $$ ⭐️ 9/10 𝗪𝗛𝗔𝗧 𝗪𝗘 𝗧𝗥𝗜𝗘𝗗: 🦐 King Prawn Udon [$32] 🍚 Salmon Ochazuke [$26] 🍞 Miso Banana Bread [$9] 🍵 Uji Matcha Latte [$6.50] 𝗧𝗛𝗢𝗨𝗚𝗛𝗧𝗦: One of my favourite cafes in Sydney to visit with the BEST matcha latte~ so creamy and delicious 😍 Even though I would say this is on the pricier end for brunch, the food is always so on point as well!! You honestly couldn’t go wrong with either the sweet or savoury options (or both 😋) My only complaint is the long wait times during peak hours but that’s how you know they’re good 😌

MEET OUR SUPPLIERS This week, we're excited to shine the spotlight on @tuga.pastries! Tuga Pastries is more than just a bakery; it's a story woven with love, tradition, and the pursuit of culinary excellence. Founded by Diogo Ferreira, Tuga Pastries traces its origins back to his family's rich tradition of baking pasteis de nata, a beloved Portuguese delicacy. The journey began with Diogo's father, Agostinho Ferreira, a talented pastry chef who brought his family recipe all the way from Portugal to Australia in 1985. Together with his wife Lucia, they established Fleur de lys bakery in Bondi Beach in 1994. Their dedication to quality and craftsmanship led them to expand, eventually settling in a Marrickville factory where they produced thousands of pastries and cakes daily. After Agostinho's passing, Diogo felt compelled to honor his father's legacy. He opened "Village on Cloey," a cozy café in Clovelly, where he embarked on a mission to perfect his father's pastel de nata recipe. Through six months of dedication and experimentation, Diogo achieved success, capturing the essence of his family's culinary heritage in every bite. As demand for their delicious pastries grew, Tuga Pastries was born. What started as a small shop next to Village on Cloey soon expanded to a second location in Alexandria. Today, Tuga Pastries continues to flourish, with Village on Cloey rebranded as Tuga x Village, a testament to Diogo's unwavering commitment to preserving and sharing his family's legacy with the world. Join us in celebrating @tuga.pastries, a true embodiment of passion, tradition, and mouthwatering delights! #thenorthspoon #happinessislickingthespoon
