.(3 - 15) عندما عدنا بالتاریخ بعیدا و مررنا بالأزمان المتعاقبة استوقفتنا الكثیر من المشاهد المذهلة. مشهد ذلك الإنسان البدائي الذي خلق علاقة متوترة مع النار ما بین خوفه من الاقتراب منها و فضوله لاكتشافها .. تلك العلاقة تطورت وتغیرت أشكالها حتى سیطر الإنسان على النار ولمعت عیناه بهجة بهذا الإنجاز العظیم الذي غیر شكل حیاته لاحقا. . ومما أثار دهشتنا مشهد ذلك الإنسان الذي یرسم الحیوانات المفترسة على جدران الكهوف .. هل كان یثبت قوته و جدارته بذلك أم أنه كان یحاول التغلب على مخاوفه بأن یتفوق على تلك الحیوانات في رسوماته على الأقل، أم أنه كان یود أن تدلنا حكایته على أنه مر من هنا .. . و لكم وقعنا على قصص المتفكرین في الكون الباحثین عن حقیقة ما وراءه بحواراتهم مع الموجودات في قلب الصحاري و أعالي الجبال؛ یتلمسون طریقهم لموجد هذا الجمال. . و في كل زمن كان أولئك العلماء یضربون أجمل أمثال التفاني والمثابرة في أبحاثهم ودراساتهم التي لم تنقطع ولم ینقطع أثرها ، كانوا أقمارا تنیر اللیالي و كانت أعمالهم شمسا تنیر الآتي لكل العابرین ... و لنا. . انغماسنا في التاریخ انتهى لیكون انغماسا في ذواتنا و تشریحنا له لم یكن إلا تشریح لأنفسنا، شيء ما في كل هذه القصص یجمعنا بأصحابها ،شيء حاولنا أن نلمسه و نقترب منه أكثر. . . .(2 - 15) هذا السؤال مباشر وصادم ومن الصعب تناوله بتجرد لأنه یمسنا شخصیًا في مكان ما في أعماقنا. حاولنا التجرد بإبعاده عنا قدر استطاعتنا .. خارج هذا المكان وخارج هذا الوقت. بدأنا البحث عن الاجابة عند كل من مروا من هنا. تلك المسافة ساعدتنا لنرى الأمور بشكل أوضح. . من هنا بدأنا رحلة العودة للوراء في محاولة لفهم الذي أمامنا. . . .(1 - 15) ما جدوى كل هذا ؟؟ . هذا السؤال الیومي الثقیل. سؤال الاستیقاظ صباحًا قبل الخروج ومواجهة العالم. السؤال الذي یلح دائمًا بفظاظة ودون استئذان. ویتسلل إلینا لیكثف لحظات خواء المعنى ویسلب لحظات الفرح البسیطة منا. رغم إلحاح السؤال وضخامته وحضوره الیومي الجاثم علینا الا أننا قد لا نجد فرصة لمحاولة الإجابة علیه لانهماكنا في الاستجابة لنداء الحیاة غیر المبرر. . . هذه المرة قررنا نحن أن نتوقف أمام هذا السؤال .. لعل محاولة فهمه اجدى من محاولة ایقافه. . .
