Proverbs 12:1 KJV: Whoso loveth instruction loveth knowledge: But he that hateth reproof is brutish. When I read this for the first time in the NKJV: 1 Whoever loves instruction loves knowledge, But he who hates correction is stupid. Girl, I got the conviction! First I was thinking about basic knowledge, priorities, business, and my love life. And to be transparent, I had all my priorities not where it should be. Secondly, I was thinking about all the stupid things that I have done and been through 🤦♀️ And when I read the ESV version: Whoever loves discipline loves knowledge, but he who hates reproof is stupid. - There's that word, discipline. Today, I love that word even if I don't do it right away, I love the conviction, the correction from the Holy Spirit.
