I personally prefer photos when you're not looking at the camera, but when you're interacting and enjoying the moment with your family. The expressions on your faces are then genuine and moments are captured, rather than just smiling for the photo! Don't get me wrong, I think a lovely shot of everyone looking at the camera is lovely too I really do, it's just candid is more me ☺️

The super mini portrait sessions I held were so sweet! A really simple set up in our local park, under the shade of a huge tree in late afternoon gave the loveliest light! It was a trial for me to see how long I would need within 5 minutes to get some decent shots of little ones and it turned out, not long at all! This is quite different from my normal, natural shoots, but it was still relaxed, not posed and the good thing about this, was that the little ones needed to be still for minimal time, just a few minutes max! It was also the first of my gallery upgrade options and it was lovely to have clients choosing to purchase additional images 🥰 I was hoping to run another of these sessions this year but I'm not sure I will fit it in so am hoping to organise another early spring maybe 🤞🏼 This little girly looks just classic in this soft dress and socks from my client loan wardrobe 😍
My first trip to Kilve for a shoot and it was beyond cute. We met just before sunset and, although it was a little windy, it was beautiful. Of course he cried a little, weed, pooped and all of that, but I'm used to it - I expect it! But with this soft light and so, so much love right here ~ I'm so grateful I could capture this special time 🤎 I said it before and I'll say it again, love is love.
