I was digging through my caffeine free stash where I usually pull out a bedtime herbal or a dessert decaf black tea. I grabbed this one and I’m SO glad I did. What an interesting combo. The caramel nuttiness of rooibos with a bitter bite of orange peel. I wasn’t sure how this would come together, BUT IT DOES! This brews up to a delicious citrus brew that has a very juicy orange flavor. A little agave for sweetness and it easily made it into my top five nighttime cuppa lineup. . . Strawberry Shortcake Herbal Tea by @favatea Ok y’all. Just get a good look at that photo. Mouth watering? Yeah, mine too. I only have two words to sum up this tea: Strawberries Whipped Cream That’s it. I mean, do you really need to know anything else? I can barely describe how delicious this herbal blend is. It really is true to its name. Sure, there’s beetroot for a pretty color and hibiscus to add a little tartness but it really is a juicy AND creamy strawberry delight. I think the caramel pieces and buckwheat are what come together to give you the bread/cake flavor and it all just works. I did a cold brew overnight and added a little agave syrup when I removed my infuser. My 40 oz tumbler should have lasted most of my work day, but I couldn’t keep my hands off of it! Guiltless treat! . . I keep seeing posts on social media about someone feeling flu-ish or having COVID. My husband is out on his job location and feeling sick. Better boost my immune system before he gets home! A little ginger and ginseng to the rescue! Ayurvedic Immune Tea from @mysticteabrand is a beautiful, feel-good blend that has and amazing fruity sweet flavor. The added chamomile is really adding to my chill session while a wait on the approaching thunderstorm. Nothing like a soothing hot cuppa while I listen to the rain. . . Well, I was in a hurry yesterday morning and ran to work leaving my freshly poured tumbler FULL of Açaí Sunrise from @favatea sitting on the bar 🤦♀️. Thank goodness for my stainless tumbler…it was still good when I got home. ANYWAY, just as I expected, another fresh and delicious brew! Friday after work is my “caffeinated and clean” time so that I can enjoy my weekend. This yummy green tea blend kept me running until I got everything done! This blend has just enough berry goodness to give you the summertime feels, without overpowering the green tea. That green, vegetal crispness with a slight seaweed note is what I crave in an iced green tea. So refreshing!
