The 2nd of the Highland Hill Cabins is lovingly named “The Florence Cabin” after Billi’s Grandma Flo. She loved all animals like family, and is one of the reasons Billi has always felt the same. Whoever filled out my birth certificate did not leave it out, so when I was in the third grade I noticed the spelling was different on my birth certificate (found in my baby memory book). I thought it was cool and started signing it on my school papers with an “e.” This threw my teachers and former teachers, up until then, for a loop 🤪…. but my closest family who knew the original spelling still use that form-as did Grandma Flo, always (Every note, every card, every label on the back of a clipped newspaper article that had my pic for a sport, or name listed for the Dean’s list while in college).
