When/If I do travel with makeup, I for sure want a neutral palette with colorful shades. I narrowed it down to two: OG Jaclyn and The Wants. While the OG Jaclyn does have what I want it's mostly orangey brown toned shades whereas the The Wants has some neutrals with several pops of color. Happy January everyone. Who's ready to get married this year? 👀 I've had this 'about me' titled note on my phone since Jan 1st and I keep putting it off 🫠 However, I'm seeing lots of 'about me' posts and realised I should probs get involved as I have never really introduced myself. And who would invite a complete stranger to the biggest day of their life?... I guess I'll start with, hey my names Emily? (think my insta handle gives that one away) I've just turned 32- holla all my fellow Capricorn babies. I enjoy the simple things in life! Time spent with my nearest and dearest, time spent with my dogs and my husb. I like to think I'm a creative little soul. My creative brain always keeps me very, very busy. I love walking and being outdoors, it's sort of my escape. So much so that nearly a decade ago go I started my self employed journey and set up my own dog walking business which, although took a slight hiatus last year, I still run @thejoyofwalkies part time. The rest of my week is spent as a free lance social media manager/ content creator for different businesses. For me it's the perfect balance between disconnecting with the online world and being completely immersed in it! Other things about me? I dunno, I think I live a pretty standard life. Fun facts? I used to work at Disneyland and have spent many a day dressed as Winnie The Pooh. I'm the world's biggest Lady Gaga fan. In fact I *love* music, I'd happily spend every night at a gig. I've had more hyper-fixations than anyone I've ever met- both a blessing and a curse. She knows how to do a nice pink palette! There is something very classic about her style I appreciate. This could be something on display in a mall department store that I would ogle in the 80's! I've been wanting the UD Naked palette and I think this is a dupe for it. *Neutrogena Hydro Boost fragrance-free moisturizer. I'm undecided if hyaluronic acid is good for my skin and how many products I should be using with that ingredient. I have another moisturizer, toner, and cleanser with hyaluronic acid, which may be too much for my skin. I dabbed this under my eyes and there was slight irritation or burning but also a cooling sensation. I will have to keep trying this to see if I like it. *Olay Complete Night Cream I love how this performs, and like the classic Olay scent. It is just basic without a lot of different ingredients that could potentially irritate my skin.
