Saturday, June 1st we'll be having our 3rd Annual Texas Formerly Incarcerated People's March!!! I'm a member of the Homies Street Mentoring program, a Youth Mentor w/ The L.A.W. Foundation (Life.Always.Works), a Prison Reform Activist, & a LULAC Council Member. So I will be out there representing all 4 of those that day. But I'll be marching for those still stuck behind those walls & for those of us that made it out! We'll continue to fight for Change in the broken system & make sure our voices are heard! A lot of us Marching are Formerly Incarcerated People's but not all of us. Some are marching for their loved ones who passed during incarceration, some are marching for their loved ones incarcerated, some are City Judges, some are City Council Members, different city organizations, ppl out of state.
