Let me be real with you guys for just a minute. I don't exactly *hate* Lucy. She's an okay character, but I'm not a big fan of how she turns out in the second movie. All she's ended up getting treated as there is a substitute for Emmet's option to throw hands himself. It doesn't even help that she starts speed building hammers and axes repetitively as she progresses. Don't get mad at me for saying this, but Lucy doesn't really deserve to be... overpowered. Now, her agility and tendency to land kicks and blows might just be a part of her character, but it shouldn't be all there is to know about her. I like Emmet because he doesn't always need to fight. His ability to talk things out with others is outstanding. Lucy... is not Emmet, however. She often acts as if parts of her brain are in the firepower of her limbs. If anything, I'd feel better if by the end of their universe, she comes off as a close second to Emmet's power. Have you seen him in the climax of the first movie? A major improvement of what he was before. If Lucy keeps up her fighting prowess for too long, I'm worried that she'd end up exerting herself, get tired, and eventually die.
