Nissan Xterra Automatic Transmission oil change: Tools needed for this job: - New transmission drain plug gasked Dealership part number: NIS 11026 JA00A. - Transmission oil, I highly recommend you to ask your dealership which oil you need with the help of your VIN of your Xterra, they gave me Matic S. - 19 mm socket with extension for drain plug. - 10 mm socket for dipstick bolt. - Torque wrench 25 lbs ft. - Jack, - 3x 1L Automatic transmission oil. - Preferably 4 Rhino ramps, if you don't have find a way to jack the car all 4 corners to the same height! Usually to complete a full Transmission flush it's best to go see a mechanic and they use a special machine "Pump" that suck out all the fluid before filling new one in but I don't want to spend a lot money on that process, CAD $300-500, so I do it by dividing this fluid change 4 times this year. So far did 3 oil changes out of 4, on the third one oil came out a little bit dirty( Brownish/Black & Red ). Seen so many places I can’t wait to go back to over the past few days, we’re now in Sydney after a couple breakdowns along the way unfortunately with overheating but we made it, thanks to a couple good blokes that managed to find and fix a couple issue and push the rest of the way into Sydney. In Sydney for the next 4 days then onto somewhere else along the coast between Gold Coast and Sydney
Have now left robe and have been on the road for about 6 hours today ending up at 12 apostles on the great ocean road. If you haven’t been I’d recommend going to the umpherston sinkhole in mount gambier. When we got on the great ocean road the scenery is like none other. First place we stopped was bay of islands which was awesome, second stop was at the grotto which was stunning to see, can’t wait for tomorrow 🤙🏽

7th mod on my list was.. the Diff breather mod ! There was a "pfff" sound when I removed the factory breather..which tells me it wasn't working properly. There was pressure in the diff which could have blown my axles seal, not good !
